Terms of Use

These terms set out the conditions for using the app “Casino Edge” (the “App”) and the website “casinoedge.app” (the “Site”; together with the App, the “Service”) provided by GORGOM LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY (Gorgom合同会社, “we”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Part 1. General

Article 1 (Nature of the Service)

  1. The Service is for practicing and learning the rules and decisions of card and casino games such as poker, blackjack, video poker and table games.
  2. You cannot wager real money in the Service. You cannot buy, receive, cash out or transfer chips or points to anyone, and there are no prizes.
  3. The Service’s grading, explanations and numbers are practice guides based on publicly available methods (books, strategy sites and calculations). We do not guarantee that you will win or avoid losses in real games.
  4. The bots only imitate the tendencies of player types. They do not reproduce real people or real data.

Article 2 (Age)

The Service is intended for people aged 18 and over.

Article 3 (Real-money gambling)

  1. Whether and where you gamble for real is your own decision, under the laws, age limits and venue rules that apply where you are. The Service does not recommend any venue or online gambling.
  2. You must not:
    • use the Service while playing online poker or similar games (most sites prohibit this in their terms);
    • use a device inside a casino or other venue in a way prohibited by local law or venue rules (such as recording cards during a game or using it to help make decisions).
  3. If you are worried about your gambling, please contact a support service in your area.

Article 4 (Prohibited conduct)

You must not:

  1. act against the law or public order and morals;
  2. analyse, modify or copy the Service’s programs, or use paid features without authorization;
  3. sell or publish the Service’s content (explanations, charts, images and so on) without our permission, except within the scope of quotation;
  4. infringe our or anyone else’s rights, or interfere with the operation of the Service;
  5. use the Service for real-money wagering, contrary to Article 1(2).

Article 5 (Rights)

  1. The rights in the Service’s text, charts, programs, images and other materials belong to us or their rightful owners.
  2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, you may stream, record, capture, edit and publish screens of the Service, including for revenue, in accordance with our separate “Streaming and video guidelines”.

Article 6 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)

We may change the Service or stop providing it to keep the content accurate or for operational reasons. If we stop providing all paid features, we will announce it in advance in the App and on the Site.

Part 2. The App

Article 7 (Subscriptions)

  1. The App’s paid features are available through auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly or annual) on the App Store or Google Play. The price is the amount shown on the store’s purchase screen.
  2. A subscription renews automatically for the same period and is charged to your store account unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  3. Cancel in the subscription settings of your store account. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
  4. The annual plan includes a free trial for first-time subscribers only. If you do not cancel during the trial, the annual price is charged when it ends. The store decides whether you are eligible for the trial.
  5. Payment, renewal and refunds follow each store’s terms and procedures. We do not give refunds outside the stores.
  6. A purchase can be used only on devices of the store where it was made (iOS or Android). It does not transfer if you switch to the other platform.
  7. If you change devices or reinstall the App, use “Restore purchases” in the App to restore paid features. Practice records are stored on the device and are not restored by “Restore purchases”. Between devices on the same operating system they move with the device backup, and between iPhone and Android you can move them with “Export records” and “Import records”.

Article 8 (Free and paid features)

The App shows clearly which features are free and which are paid. We may make paid features free.

Article 9 (Records)

Practice records are stored only on your device. We cannot restore records lost through device failure, deleting the App or erasing data. We do not delete the records on your device when a subscription ends.

Apple’s Standard License Agreement

For the App obtained from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies in addition to these terms. Where it conflicts with these terms, Apple’s agreement prevails (only in relation to Apple).

Part 3. The Site

Article 10 (Accuracy of information)

  1. Casino rules, games, entry requirements and similar information on the Site are based on official announcements, regulators’ materials and user posts, and are shown with the date checked. They may differ from the current situation. Please check the venue’s official information before you go.
  2. The Site is not an official site of any venue and is not affiliated with any venue.

Article 11 (Posts)

  1. “Latest info” posts (once offered) must follow the posting rules we publish on the Site at that time.
  2. You allow us to publish, summarize and edit what you post on the Service free of charge. We have no obligation to publish any post.

Part 4. Other

Article 12 (Limitation of liability)

  1. We try to keep the Service accurate but do not guarantee that it is free of errors.
  2. If you suffer damage in connection with the Service, except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to direct damage that would ordinarily arise, up to the amount you paid for our paid features in the month the damage arose.
  3. We are not responsible for the results of any real-money gambling.

Article 13 (Changes to these terms)

We may change these terms in accordance with the Civil Code of Japan. When we do, we will announce the effective date and the content in advance on the Site and in the App.

Article 14 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction of first instance over any dispute relating to the Service.
