Aggressor / PFR (poker)

Poker term

The player who raised last preflop.

On the flop the opponent usually checks to them, and betting again here is the c-bet. Example. If the BTN opens and the BB calls, the BTN is the aggressor. This is a different meaning from the stat PFR (the percentage of hands raised preflop).
