Blinds (SB / BB)

Poker term

Forced bets posted before anyone sees their cards.

The SB (small blind) posts half a unit and the BB (big blind) posts one unit. In a 1/2 game, the SB posts 1 and the BB posts 2. The big blind is also used as a unit: "100bb" means chips equal to 100 big blinds.
