EV loss (poker)

Poker term

The loss compared with GTO.

The EV gap from the best play. By size it is called Inaccuracy (small), Mistake (medium), or Blunder (large). Example. In video poker, if the best hold has an EV of 1.50 and the hold you chose has 1.20, the EV loss is 0.30.
