Nash Equilibrium (poker)

Also: Nash equilibrium, Nash

Poker term

A state where no one gains by changing only their own strategy.

Every finite game has one. In two-player zero-sum games, it is the same thing as GTO. Example. In rock-paper-scissors, playing each of the three 1/3 of the time is the equilibrium, and shifting only your own mix gains nothing.
