3-straight (poker)

Poker term

A Stud starting hand on 3rd street with 3 connected cards.

Three in a row, like J-T-9. It completes a straight by 7th street about 21% of the time, and 44% once it becomes 4 in a row. If 2 of the end cards (Q and 8 for J-T-9) show in other players' up cards, its value is cut in half.
