Archie (poker)

Poker term

A game that splits the pot between the high and low hands in Triple Draw.

There are two ways to win, so it isn't a game for a beginner to pick in Dealer's Choice. 5 cards are dealt with 3 draws, and the high half requires a pair of 9s or better while the low half requires an 8 or better. Example: a pair of kings meets the high requirement, and a low such as 8-5-4-3-2 meets the low requirement. Details vary by table.
