Dealer's Choice (poker)

Also: dealers choice, DC

Poker term

A format where the player on the button picks a game from a list and it's played for one orbit.

The basic idea is to pick the game your opponents are worst at rather than the one you're best at. Example: the $10,000 Dealer's Choice at a major world-class series offers 20 games. Everyone knows NLHE and PLO, so don't pick them yourself, and if someone picks a game you don't know, fold early and wait for your turn to choose.
