DU tie / DU vs BJ (blackjack)

Also: DU tie, DU vs BJ, Double Up tie

Blackjack term

What happens to the Double Up portion on a tie or a dealer blackjack.

The default: it loses on a tie and loses to a dealer BJ. Example: you bet 10, DU, and tie 19 against 19; under the default the DU portion loses. Some tables return it against a dealer BJ. This difference alone changes the house edge, so check it at the table.
