Poker term

In draw games, a made hand that doesn't need to draw.

In 2-7, an 8-or-better or 9 low; in Badugi, a 4-card badugi. A dealt 5-card hand is a pat 8 or better 0.71% of the time. Rule of thumb: "a 7 wins, an 8 usually wins, a 9 is a coin flip, and a T is ahead only heads-up when the opponent is drawing."
