Also: Tri, 3-card badugi, three-card badugi

Poker term

In Badugi, a hand with 3 cards of different ranks and suits.

57% of dealt 4-card hands are tris. Drawing 1, your outs to a badugi are the 13 cards of your missing suit minus the 3 whose ranks you already hold, so 10 cards: 21% on one draw, 51% over three. A low tri containing an ace (A-2-3) often wins at showdown even without improving.
