- It is played with a 48-card deck with the tens removed. A player 21 beats a dealer 21, and some hands, such as a 21 made with many cards, earn bonuses.
- The published house edge is about 0.37–0.40% (6 decks, S17).
- Four tens are taken out of each deck. J, Q and K stay and count 10
- A player 21 beats a dealer 21. Blackjack beats a dealer blackjack (3 to 2)
- Double on any number of cards (3 or more too) and after splits
- After a double below 21 you may rescue: take back the double and lose the original bet
- Split up to 4 hands, aces included. Split aces can hit and double
- Surrender is allowed (after the dealer checks for blackjack)

The big bonus for a suited 7-7-7 against a dealer 7 (Super Bonus) is not included (it moves the house edge by about 0.03%). H17 tables are much worse at 0.78%.
