In draw games, throwing away cards you don't want and drawing the same number from the deck.
Everyone sees how many cards you draw, and drawing 0 is standing pat. Example. In 2-7 with 8-6-4-2-K, throw the K and draw 1 (Draw 1). 2-7 Triple Draw, A-5 Triple Draw and Badugi have 3 draws and 2-7 Single Draw has 1, and the table heading goes PRE-DRAW (betting after the deal) → DRAW 1 (the first draw) → AFTER DRAW 1 (betting after the first draw), alternating draws and betting rounds. This is a different meaning from a drawing hand (a flush draw and so on).
